If you wish to volunteer in any capacity at St. Jude Parish or School,

 you must have PA State, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprints/Disclosure Statement on file before performing any duties. You will have 90 days to complete the Virtus Class & Mandated Reporter. Thank you.

The following documents are required for active employees/volunteers at St. Jude’s Parish:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check - Can be obtained online at https://epatch.pa.gov/home, with results available within a few minutes and are free for Volunteers 
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance   Can be obtained online at https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS and is free for volunteers.
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Federal Criminal Background Check) Go to https://uenroll.identogo.com/ to schedule an appointment for the background check. Click here and follow the instructions under Federal Criminal Background Check.
• Cert. of attendance at a Safe Environment Training Session www.virtusonline.org/virtus
• Signed copy of “Standards of Ministerial Behavior” (from the Virtus class attendance)
• Signed Cert. for Technology Addendum (offered at the Virtus class)
• Cert. of completion of Mandated Reporter Training  https://learning.childyouthprotection.org/online_training_list.php

Please Note: PA State and PA Child Abuse clearances, including FBI clearance, must be renewed every five years (60 months). Volunteers who have lived in Pennsylvania for less than ten years must renew their FBI Fingerprint clearance until they reach ten years of residency. Once the volunteer meets the 10-year residency requirement, they must complete a Disclosure Statement Application (available in the Documents below) for Volunteers, which must be submitted every five years. You will NOT be permitted to volunteer until you have completed all the necessary paperwork.
