"Teaching is a beautiful job as it allows you to see the growth day by day of people entrusted to your care. It is a great responsibility." ~Pope Francis
My name is Camille Rock and I have been teaching for 21 years, and beginning my 15th year at Saint Jude School. I have taught second, fourth, sixth, and seventh grades. I am a proud product of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and hold a degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University. My husband Jim and I have three children: Samantha, Jimmy, and Lindsay. My favorite place to be is on a beach, especially down at the Jersey Shore. I also enjoy cooking, reading, and exercising. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I "played school" endlessly for hours as a child. I can honestly say that I love the path I have chosen in life. My teaching philosophy is to learn from your mistakes and keep trying. I strive to teach by example with respect and kindness. I strive to help my middle school students grow deeper in their spiritual faith with God and reach their academic goals. I am truly blessed working in such a dynamic, but most importantly, a warm welcoming school called Saint Jude.
