At St. Jude School, we educate hearts and minds in Mercy, Service, and Academics. As a community, we work together to love, honor, support, and encourage our students, enabling them to grow and learn in a nurturing and caring environment. We integrate strong Catholic values with academic excellence in the education of each student.
Following the Common Core standards of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, we provide a rigorous and relevant core curriculum. Our particular focus on critical thinking, research, and problem-solving challenges students to reach their potential and beyond. St. Jude School is a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School and recognized as a 2019 School of Distinguished Instruction by the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education. We have produced 27 Neumann Scholars (students receiving a full four-year scholarship to an Archdiocesan high school of their choice) as well as many other yearly graduates receiving scholarships to private or Catholic high schools in the area.
Our goal is to instill in each student a lifelong love of learning. Co-curricular subjects include Art, Music, Spanish, Technology, Library Science, and Physical Education. Extracurricular activities such as Choir, CYO Athletics, Instrumental Music, Sign Language Club, Scouts, Forensics, Robotics, Garden Club, Math, and Reading Clubs, Beta Club, and Student Council enable students to explore their God-given talents and interests.
